Manorbier Castle

Manorbier castle is open to the public from 30th March until the end of September.  Opening times are 10am-6pm.

The castle has life size wax figures to add atmosphere, beautiful gardens and a souvenir shop for holiday gifts!

It also has an excellent Tea Room.

The castle is also available for weddings adding an extra special layer to your happy day!

The Castle Inn

Situated just up from the beach is The Castle Inn serving meals and bar snacks in a cosy pub environment or beer garden on those beautiful sunny days! The food served is of a very high quality and the staff are very accommodating.

Alternatively there is The Sun Inn in St. Florence just up the road, with a cosy, friendly atmosphere!

Manorbier Beach

With golden sand, beautiful rock pools and ample parking Manorbier is the perfect place for a family day out at the beach! Kids will love the rock pools at the beach, home to all sorts of interesting creatures, plants and rocks.

This beautiful sandy beach, popular with people of all ages is overlooked by the 12th century white church and an impressive medieval castle! The southern end of the beach is overlooked by a Neolithic burial chamber called "The King's Quoit".

With the exception of very high tides there is always space at the beach at any time of the day. Low tide exposes a flat beach with a stream running dowen from the valley to the sea, ideal for making dams and playing safely in the water!

Manorbier is also a very popular year round surfing destination. During the summer months the waves become very crowded and care should be taken to avoid the right hand side of the beach if you are an inexperienced surfer as the waves break over a very sharp reef at mid to high tide!
